Urban Art Tour at MUCA museum (English)

Thea goes English: Together we discover the impressive works of Portuguese artist Vhils. He is internationally recognized for a distinctive technique of scratching into surfaces, rather than applying colour, in order to reveal gigantic portraits. Plus: discussion & a free softdrink.

New at Thea Kulturklub: Cultural Events in English

The Museum of Urban Contemporary Art (MUCA), situated in the old town, shows changing exhibitions. Street Art, Graffiti and all forms of Urban Art are in the spotlight there. An exhibition featuring works by Vhils is currently on display and is definitely worth seeing. Our new English group welcomes you to join a 90-minutes guided tour. 

Eva and Monika, two volunteers, organize these events and welcome anyone who is interested. After visiting the exhibition, the group heads to the neighboring restaurant Prinz Myshkin to chat. Anyone who feels like conversing in English is welcome to join. “Munich is an international city with numerous cultural offerings in English. We like to visit some of them with you”, says native speaker Eva. “Anyone who wants to use their English skills not only when traveling but also here should feel at home in our group”, adds Monika, who teaches English.
