Fast and funny
There is Beatrice, who doesn’t care about men and embraces her life as a spinster. Then there is Count Claudio who falls deeply in love with Beatrice‘s cousin Hero. And then there is Claudios friend Benedick, a convinced bachelor who despises marriage. While waiting for the upcoming wedding between Claudio und Hero, Beatrice and Benedick discover romantic feelings for each other. But then everything changes, when Claudio falsely accuses Hero of treachery, which leads to a dramatic turn of the plot and a plan of revenge. This light comedy about the upsides of love switches to tragedy and back. Nevertheless you can take a hearty laugh about Shakespreare‘s dialogues full of wit and humour.
